Currently celebrating its 60th anniversary, the RPO will perform a proms line up to beat any
other with the following Classical Proms programme to delight our summer musical senses:

Classical Proms Programme

2pm: Screening of 'In search of Mozart'

The afternoon will start at 2pm with an exclusive screening of the recently premiered In Search
of Mozart accompanied by a talk from award winning director Phil Grabsky

3pm: Proms with the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra

Conductor: Nick Davies   Soprano: Shân Cothi

Highly regarded local concert guitarist Richard Durrant will be appearing as special guest soloist with the Royal Philarmonic to perform the middle movement of Rodrigo's famous 'Aranjuez' guitar concerto as well as the ever popular 'Cavatina' by Stanley Myers (better known as The Deer Hunter theme).
